Anyone will tell you I’m a bit of a braggart.
Don’t know if it’s because I’m from Texas, or if I’m making up for some underlying inferiority complex, or maybe it’s simply because my husband is a bad ass.
You tell me after you take a look at some of Jason’s work featured in the Winter 2009 issue of Beautiful Homes magazine. His handiwork includes: the ceiling, the doors, the windows, the baseboards, the crown, the kitchen cabinetry, even those divine credenzas flanking the fireplace. It’s all him, baby.
By the way, this is someone’s vacation home. Yeah. I know. I hate them, too.

Ha Ha, I will never view “This Old House” in the same manner.
P.S. Gorgeous work!
Your husband does really nice work.
I’m glad to see that my husband is not the only husband who appears in a magazine!! Super nice wood work.
Bryan – Hah! I know! Jason and I trash-talk Norm on Sundays as we watch New Yankee Workshop. I equate it to how you talk smack during a pick-up game of basketball. It’s pretty sweet. We would certainly “throw down” if we ever met up with Norm.
Leslie – Thanks, I’ll make sure to let my husband know he is gathering “fans”.
Annette – Jason wants me to point out that this was a national publication and not a oil & gas industry newsletter. Sure it may have been printed on glossy paper, but being on the cover of Engineers Weekly just doesn’t have the same panache. However, I hear Playgirl is doing a Men of the Pipeline issue. Something for him to think about. Seemed to work out well for Scott Brown.
