I’m in love.
Obsessed, actually.
In Battlestar Galactica Caprica Six and Gaius Baltar had this weird, sick but uber hot, over-the-top relationship (If you haven’t seen Battlestar Galactica, you need to stop reading right now and rent some DVDs).
Well, that’s me and Greek yogurt.
Greek yogurt is Gaius and naturally I’m the 6′ tall blond slinky model, Caprica Six. I’m all up in yogurt’s face, on fire and writhing. Mmm, m’m! Damn, it’s so good.
So far my fav has been Chobani raspberry. Besides Chobani, I’ve tried Oikos, Fage (2nd favorite, but hated the fruit – will get plain next time), Dannon, Brown Cow, Yoplait.
Yoplait was by far the worst having a chalky mouth-feel that almost put me off Greek yogurt for good. I say “almost”, but this love we’ve got is strong and will survive. The only way I’ll stop this yogurt love-fest is if I find out that it’s made from ground up kitten bones.
On second thought, I’m not so sure that would make me stop. It might even encourage me to visit the Humane Society and buy a better blender.
Do you have a favorite Greek yogurt, maybe one I haven’t tried? Or possibly a recipe for homemade yogurt? I’m all ears….
Special thanks to Shawn for turning me onto Battlestar Galactica. Otherwise, I’d never be able to describe my twisted obsession with Greek yogurt.

I haven’t eaten much greek yogurt, but I did like Garden of the gods or greek gods yogurt or something like that. Google it. Haven’t seen Battlestar Galactica, but I heard it was really really good. Got great reviews from the critics. Might check it out.
Fun post, but I have to say gasping and covering my daughter’s eyes when I got to the blender, animal shelter, kitten thing. lol She would dream of 100 ways to torture you if she spotted you at the shelter! lol
(you’re too funny)

Oh, no!
I love me some kitty-cats, even the non-ground up kind. OmaHaus, my cat, did not take kindly to the kitten bones reference either. She’s been mad at me for days now…
need to rent the dvds…I know I SHOULD have watched battlestar galactica, but just never did. for shame.
The only kind of greek yogurt I’ve tried is fage…but I’ll definitely look for Chobani! My very favorite way to eat it is with honey drizzled over. heavenly. Sometimes with fruit too…peaches or mangoes, and honey…yum.
